Save on Internet Service With ACP Since all students who attend Norris Elementary qualify for free school lunch, all students also qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a federal benefit program operated by the Federal Communications Commission. That means their household can save up to $30 per month on internet access or up to $75 per month if they live on tribal lands. To enroll, families should: 1. Go to getinternet.gov to submit an application or to print a mail-in application. 2. Enter your contact information and in the “Confirm your program participation” section select that your child or dependent participates in “USDA Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) School.” 3. Then contact Golden West (if we serve your home) at 1-855-888-7777, option 1, or another preferred participating provider to select an eligible plan and/or have the discount applied to your bill. Both new and existing subscribers can receive the discount, but you must contact the provider. ACP enrollees may need to provide documentation verifying eligibility. This could involve presenting the household’s school meals approval letter or other current official documentation. There are other ways to qualify for ACP in addition to attending a CEP school. The discount is non-transferrable, is limited to one per household, and may end if federal funds run out. For more information about ACP, call 1-877-384-2575 or visit getinternet.gov. The FCC’s Lifeline program offers an additional discount opportunity, although qualifying isn’t automatic for schools who receive free lunch for all. For more information about Lifeline, visit lifelinesupport.org. An internet connection is vitally important to daily life. Golden West is proud to participate in the ACP and Lifeline to help connect more people.

The Norris school will no longer be paying for 2nds for students as of Monday, May 9, 2023. The funds being used were Box Tops for Education. We have tried numerous times to get to parent/guardians to send their box tops or scan them on the app themselves, we have zero dollars made from this endeavor. Therefore, the school has not been able to maintain the Box Tops for Education account so we will have to start charging students the 25 cents for a 2nd main course. If you have any questions, please call the school and discuss this with Mr. Sieh.
