Dear Parents and Guardians, I hope this letter finds you healthy and safe. I am pleased to announce to you a special historic event happening here at the school. Black Pipe Singers at Norris Elementary have been invited to perform for the Legislative Rotunda at the State Capitol in Pierre, South Dakota on January 10, 2024.
Superintendent Krogman has graciously agreed to take a parent bus up to the Capitol for the parents, guardians, and community members to participate and viewing of the performance.
There will be a big bus transporting everyone to Pierre. The bus will be at the school at 9:30 and the bus will be departing at 10:00 am, with the performance at noon (12 o’clock). If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at the school at 605-462-6455.

IHS Public Health Nursing will be in the Janklow Room on Oct 5th at 9:00 a.m. offering flu shots. These are for IHS-eligible students and staff. The nursing staff will go to Norris after they finish in White River. Please contact the school your child attends if you have any questions.

Today's parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. Students will be dismissed 15 minutes after the conclusion of the parade. The alumni tailgate begins at 5:00 p.m. at the football field. There will be food and drinks served. Finally, come cheer on the Tigers during the football game beginning at 7:00 p.m.
