My seventh-grade class has just finished reading The Giver by Lois Lowry. To wrap up our unit, we’ll be watching the movie version and comparing it to the book.
Students are allowed to bring snacks to enjoy during the movie.
The movie is rated PG-13, so if a parent or guardian prefers that their student not watch the movie, please contact the school by 9:30 am this morning so an alternate assignment can be provided.

My sixth grade class has just finished reading Holes by Louis Sachar! To wrap up our unit, we’ll be watching the movie version and comparing it to the book. This is one of my favorite book/movie pairs because the movie actually follows the book extremely closely!

WRMS will run voluntary Tiger Support Wednesday for students whose parents sign them up. We will run mandatory tutoring on Thursday for all failing students. Transportation will not be provided on Thursday.
