The students at WRHS have the opportunity to win some fun Valentine's Day goodies! Students will receive a ticket for every day they are in school for the entire day (no exceptions: no tickets will be given for parent request, dr appts, arriving to school late, etc). Each student can earn up to 17 tickets. Drawing will be on Valentine's Day during Homeroom. You must be present to win!

Mrs. Twite took 16 students to Region Band on Monday, October 16. Region Band was held in Kadoka this year. The students practiced their songs all day and had a performance that evening. Good job Tigers!

Five students attended the All State Choir Workshop in Mitchell with Mrs. Twite on Tuesday, October 10. They had a great day rehearsing the music but also took in a few attractions! Students in the group are: Trinity Benedict, Savannah Knispel, Brendy Bartlett, Brooklyn White Hat, and Liam White Hat.

The White River Tigers had a successful regional meet on Wednesday, October 11, in Philip. Elijah Haukaas placed 9th and Kingston DeSersa placed 15th. They will run at the State Cross Country Meet in Sioux Falls on Saturday, October 21. Evan Krogman (21st), Jaxon Krogman (22nd), and Mateo Black Bear (27th) also ran strong for the Tigers. Each region takes the top 20 runners to the state meet. The Tigers finished their regular season finishing 3rd in their region! Congrats Tigers!!
