White River School District 47-1 Special School Board Meeting – White River – March 25, 2024 7:00 pm – Community Events Center 1. Chairman calls the meeting to order. 2. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. 3. Chairman calls on the Business Manager to record the roll: 4. Approve agenda for this meeting. 5. Introductions –Superintendent Krogman, will give an explanation of Impact Aid, JOM, and Title VI outreach meeting. Provide patrons with an opportunity to review the Indian Policies and Procedures according to P.L. 103-382. 6. Parents and patrons in attendance express their concerns to the White River Board of Education. 7. Motion to approve the Northern Plains Insurance Pool Joint Powers Agreement and continue participation for the 2024-2025 school term. 8. Motion to approve and accept the health insurance rates and coverage through Northern Plains Insurance Pool for the 2024-2025 school term for the following coverage options: Pheasant, Pasque, and Falls. 9. Motion to approve the following travel requests: - Eldon Marshall – SD Activity Directors Conference – March 25-27 – Sioux Falls – Vehicle – Lodging – Meals - Brian Brown – OSEU Review Committee – April 9 – Pierre – Vehicle 10. Motion to go into executive session as per SDCL 1-25-2 for personnel, student, and negotiations. 11. Motions from executive session 12. Motion to adjourn the meeting.

Congratulations to Ethan Watson for placing 2nd in the shot put at the Dan Lennon Meet in Vermillion yesterday. He got 2nd place out of 85 participants! Very impressive accomplishment! Results can be found @ https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/meet/533938/results/m/1/shot Go Tigers!

White River students were involved in state art this last weekend. Samuel Beardt received 1st Place in the State Art competition in graphic design for the second time in a row. Congratulations Sam, you are very talented and we are proud of you!
