B. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION—is placed first on the Agenda to accommodate (1) a school patron who wishes to address the Board; or, (2) a patron who wishes to present a proposal or concern; or, (3) to a patron who has provided the Board Chairman with a written grievance prior to the meeting which has not been resolved after the school patron has worked through the school organization. (Working through the organization means the school patron has met with the staff member, as appropriate; and with the principal, as needed; and/or, then with the superintendent.)

If these meetings have been held and the grievance remains unsolved, the Board will deal with the written grievance at its meeting. If not, the Board shall proceed, without interruption, with the other business of the Board.

Personnel matters of a controversial nature, which would include students, teachers, or other persons, shall not be discussed by the Board in open session with a school patron. A school patron may request an executive session with the Board. An executive session may be granted at the Board’s discretion, and only after the Board’s business is concluded. This is an accommodation to other school patrons who are attending this meeting.

Anyone wishing to speak to the Board must be acknowledged by the Board Chairman. This will permit the meeting to be handled in an orderly manner. Speakers are requested to identify themselves and their topic and are asked to limit their remarks to five (5) minutes. Thank you for your attendance, interest, and participation.

MS VB VS LYMAN 10/16/25 (CANCELLED)
Due to a conflict Lyman has cancelled our middle school volleyball match scheduled for Thursday, October 16th.

Please join us for a special community presentation by Nathan Deen tonight at 7:00 pm in the HS theater. His life story is depicted in the film "Brave the Dark." He will offer a message of hope, resilience, and the impact of education. Sponsored by the MGM Coalition.

MS FB VS CRAZY HORSE 10/14/25 (CANCELLED)
Due to low numbers Crazy Horse has cancelled our middle school football game next Tuesday, October 14th.

MS VB AT KADOKA AREA 10/7/25
Middle school volleyball will play at Kadoka Area tonight, C match will start at 5:30 pm (central) followed by the B and A matches. These matches will be played in Kadoka's new gymnasium.

Lady Tigers volleyball will play at Todd County tonight, C match will start at 5:15 pm, JV at 6:30 pm followed by the Varsity match.

Congratulations to our middle school Tigers volleyball team for taking home the Western Great Plains conference tourney chamionship today! Great job Tigers!

Congratulations to the Tigers boys cross country team for placing 3rd as a team at the LNI meet today! Elijah Haukaas 3rd place Noah Vanderwalker 22nd Kaden Running Horse 27th Kingston DeSersa 28th Cadyn Brave Heart 37th Colton Waln 52nd Great job Tigers!

The Lady Tigers finish 4-1 in pool play, get the #2 seed in pool D and next will play #1 seed of pool A Custer in the first round of the single elimination tourney. Good luck Lady Tigers!

The Lady Tigers finish the day with a 4-0 record in pool play, defeating Marty Indian, Lower Brule, Todd County, and Crazy Horse. The Lady Tigers will play for Pool D #1 seed vs Lakota Tech tomorrow morning at 10:00 am (central). The top two seeds from each pool advances to the 8 team single elimination tourney. Good luck Lady Tigers!

HS VB AT LNI TOURNEY 10/3-4/25 The Lady Tigers will play at the LNI tourney today and tomorrow in Rapid City at the Summit Arena. First match will be this morning vs Marty Indian at approximately 11:00 am (central), running schedule attached. Good luck Lady Tigers!

HS/MS CC AT WGPC MEET AT PHILIP 10/3/25 Tigers cross country will run in the Western Great Plaims conference meet at Philip today, starts at 10:00 am (central). Good luck Tigers!
