AMENDMENT- MOVE BACK TO PHASE 1, MARCH 7, 2022
Revisions to Phase 1 of the Start School Plan
Beginning Monday, March 7 the WRSD will be returning to Phase 1 of the Start School Plan. The biggest change is that mask wearing in school is optional.
The following is a summary of the revised Phase 1:
· Wearing a mask is optional in school and in school transportation.
People at risk of serious illness should talk to their healthcare provider about whether they should wear a mask.
· Close Contact Tracing- See the policy on page 5.
Close Contacts must wear a mask for 10 days. They may take a test on day 5 and if a negative result would not be required to wear a mask the remaining 5 days.
· Return from Isolation-Those returning from a positive case may take a test on day 5 (if recovered) and with a negative result would not be required to wear a mask the remaining 5 days.
