START SCHOOL PLAN AMENDMENT, 9-01-21
In an effort to stay ahead of the potential increase in COVID cases and to keep our schools safe the WRSD is implementing the following “recommended mask wearing” amendment beginning Wed., Sept 1. We encourage you to help protect yourself and others by wearing a mask. MS/HS students are encouraged to provide their own masks.
We are not changing to Phase 2 at this time and activities are still in Tier I but with masks recommended at indoor events. Look for weekly updates on our school messaging system and facebook pages.

Amendment, Sept. 1, 2021
The wearing of face masks for staff, students, and any visitors is strongly recommended in all school buildings, buses, school transportation, and at indoor school activities. Face coverings are recommended regardless of vaccination status.
The proper way to wear face mask is to completely cover your nose, mouth, and secure it under your chin. It should fit snugly against the sides of your face.
It is recommended individuals eligible for the COVID vaccine consult their healthcare provider for questions and guidance.
Physical distancing of 3 feet for student to student, 6 feet student to adult, and 6 feet adult to adult is expected when possible. Face masks may be removed when able to properly physical distance.
