White River was involved in state art this last weekend! We had four pieces of art that went to state. Brooklyn White Hat with a painting piece (Underworld) , Trinity Benedict in ceramics (Bowl) , Dominique McCloskey with a 3D piece (Blue Feels) , and Samuel Beardt with graphic design (Snail City).
Samuel Beardt received 1st Place in the State Art competition in graphic design for the second time in a row! Great job!
ArtWars is a fast-paced art making competition where students are given a prompt and they have to create a piece of artwork using that prompt in 1 hour and 45 minutes. We had a handful of students participate in artwars! Alana Moran, Dominique McCloskey, Jovanna Dillon, Samuel Beardt, and Leah Driesbaugh all did an amazing job!
Jovanna Dillon received a 3rd place trophy in ceramics! Amazing!
