This is a reminder for all parents, guardians, and students that school begins tomorrow! Breakfast will begin at 7:30 am and classes begin promptly at 8:05 am. We look forward to seeing all of the students back in their classes!

Don't forget, the District Open House begins at 4:30 pm. Come meet the staff and share some air conditioning with us!

Updated Preschool Hours Breakfast for preschool students will begin at 7:30 am Dismissal/bussing will be at 3:30 pm Previously the preschool dismissed at 2:00 pm. Parents can still pick up their students at 2:00 pm if this is more convenient. Please call the elementary to make arrangements for your child. We hope the extended day will alleviate some of the pressure families are facing due to limited daycare services.

NOTICE: The Don Barnhart Gym will be closed through Monday for resurfacing/waxing. Please respect the posted signs and do not enter the gym. The custodians take a lot of pride in making sure our gym is clean, safe, and ready for when students return.

The Community Events Center will be closed this evening through Wednesday for wake and funeral services. Thank you all for your understanding and respect for the families involved.

The students and teachers enjoyed some time together playing games and putting together puzzles on Thursday. Lots of fun new games and some old favorites. Everyone had a great time.

The last 4th/5th basketball game is tonight in White River starting at 4:15pm.

A cell phon was found after the 4th and 5th-grade games yesterday. It is in the elementary office.

Academic Rally Day is Friday, April 14. Here is the information about that day.

February Events in WR Elementary. Book fair starts today. 2pm-4pm Tuesday and Thursday. Open during conferences on Wednesday from 4 to 8pm. It is set up in the middle classroom across the street. Everyone welcome.

Scholastic Book Fair Next Week!!! Look for flyers and more information coming home in Elementary Purple Folders on Monday!!

Mrs Krogman’s 1st grade and Mrs Klein’s 4th grade made snow ice cream yesterday! It was yummy delicious!
