Our 6th-grade scientists are diving into the dynamic processes that shape Earth’s surface by studying weathering, erosion, soil layers, and human impact on soil. Through real-world simulations and examples, students are learning how rocks break down, how soil moves, and why different soil layers matter for plants, water, and ecosystems. They’re also exploring how human activities can protect—or harm—soil resources, helping them understand the importance of responsible land use and environmental stewardship.
