December 17th through the 20th was the 2025 Lakota Nation Invitational Art Competition. This event displays art pieces from schools that participate in LNI. White River middle school and high school had a wide variety of pieces such as sculpture, ceramics, watercolor and charcoal sketch. Participants included: Jaxon Krogman, Ryleigh Lemay, Illiyah Crow Eagle, Macy Pumpkin Seed, Drake Moran, Alexis White Hat, Angelica Montileaux, Sage Poor Bear, Maleyah Krogman, JJ Baldock Bottger, Ariella Colon, Isaiah Farley, Emma Keller, Shawn King Jr., Aurora Byington, and Amelia Shot With Two Arrows.
