Philosophy
The community of White River, its students, parents,
teachers, administrators and Board of Education have the responsibility to prepare our
students for a productive role in a democratic society. Learning should be a continuous
process for our students, including opportunities for learning basic academic and
technological skills and exploring general, vocational, and extracurricular areas of
interest. Separate curricular entities must come together in an interdisciplinary approach
in order for each student to achieve maximum growth mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Notices:
The boys/girls basketball games scheduled
today at Gregory have been postponed to a date to be announced.
The middle school boys basketball games vs
Todd County scheduled for today in White River is still on. 3
games, first game will start at 4:30 pm.
The JV/Varsity girls basketball games at Lyman
postponed today (Monday, February 8th) have been rescheduled to Friday,
February 12th. JV game will start at 3:30 pm, Varsity game will start 20
minutes after JV game.
Feb. 10th ~ 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Middle School is hosting Student Led Conferences.
Students invite their parents and guardians to attend and work with them on making plans
to meet their educational goals. For more information please see the Middle School section
of the website or contact Principal Becker.
Thursday March 25th the White River School District is hosting guest speaker Dr. Robert Harrington.
An Evening meal will be provided with the presentation as well as daycare for parents and guardians of WRSD
students who would like to attend. Details to follow.
